LENNY PERRONE

BUSINESS AGENT

Lenny is a proud, active 37-year member of Steamfitters Local Union 420. He entered the industry in August 1988, after attending Temple University for Engineering, and is a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School. He graduated and received his Certificate of Completion from the Apprenticeship Program in August 1993. Since completing his apprenticeship, he has worked in both the industrial and commercial fields as a General Foreman, Foreman, Steward, Fitter and Welder throughout his years on job sites.

 

Lenny furthered his education and experience at LU420 by enrolling in evening classes and completing Instrumentation & Calibration, Welding, CAD and Primavera.

 

In 2022, Lenny was elected by the membership to the position of Business Agent, which he currently serves. As Business Agent, he proudly represents Upper Buck County, the Lehigh Valley, Lehigh County and Northampton County, the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton and surrounding townships, and a portion of Carbon County.

 

Lenny also previously served as delegate to the Philadelphia AFL-CIO Chapter and currently serves as a Vice President and Delegate to the Lehigh Valley Labor Council AFL-CIO. Lenny has had the great honor and privilege of representing the membership of Steamfitters LU420 as a Delegate to the UA Conventions in 2001, 2006, 2011, 2016 and 2021. He has served on the Local Union’s Bylaws Committee, as a member of the Examining Board, and as Recording Secretary and Vice President. In his role as Vice President, he served as the Chairman of the Executive Board.

 

Lenny appreciates the support he has received from the membership throughout the past 37 years and hopes that his hard work and dedication will help garner your support as he continues his election run for the position of Business Agent.

 

Lenny has been married to Monica for 32 years and is the father of three children: Erica, a graduate of St. Joseph's University; Mia, who is attending Immaculata University; and Leonardo, who is a freshman in Paul VI High School.
