Jim is a 25-year member and a 2005 graduate of the apprenticeship program. He has held many different jobs since he entered the industry and has worked in both the commercial and industrial sectors. He has been a Fitter, Steward, Foreman, General Foreman and Superintendent. He has also worked as an Instrument Tech, Contract Administrator and Project Planner.

 

Jim was elected by the membership to serve as a delegate to the 40th UA Convention in August 2021. He was humbled by the support the membership showed him. In January 2022, Jim was appointed to the Finance Committee then voted in by the Membership to a full term in June 2022.

Jim was then asked to fill a vacancy on The Executive Board in November of 2024 where he now serves the local.

 

Jim hopes that his vast experience and training once again will garner members’ support and he appreciates the opportunity to represent the Local Union now and in the future as a member of the Executive Board.
