Ed Keenan is a proud second-generation member of Steamfitters Local Union 420, bringing more than 10 years of hands-on experience to the trade. He began his journey in 2012, when he entered the apprentice program, having graduated successfully in 2017.

 

Throughout his career, Ed has gained expertise in a variety of roles, including Fitter, Certified Welder, Steward, CAD Designer, and Foreman, working across commercial, industrial, and fab shop settings within Local Union 420's territory.

 

Ed also has served the union in a leadership capacity, first on the Examining Board from January 2022 to March 2024, and now as a member of the Finance Committee. In his current role, he ensures the financial integrity of Local Union 420, overseeing the finances for membership.

 

Outside of his professional life, Ed is a dedicated husband and a proud father of three – two daughters and one son. He is deeply grateful for the ongoing support of all the Local Union members, both now and in the future.
